Welcome to the summary of August! Despite the summer vibes, we’ve been anything but quiet – from new Sylius implementations to the launch of our newest Plus module. We’re also building momentum toward SyliusCon 2025, with regular tickets ending soon and an agenda packed with speakers you won’t want to miss. Meanwhile, our community continues to grow stronger through meetups, social media, and the kind of genuine connections that make building the future of eCommerce together so rewarding.
Here’s a breakdown of July’s highlights:
Customers now see only enabled countries at checkout (Sylius/Sylius#15100). Admin product forms show a clearer message when the product code is missing (Sylius/Sylius#18296). We reverted a fixtures change that could break custom setups (Sylius/Sylius#18293). The new admin routing continued with CRUD for Taxons (Sylius/Sylius#18283). We also pinned a UI dependency to keep the admin taxon tree stable (Sylius/Sylius#18263).
We now truncate long product names to meet PayPal API limits (Sylius/PayPalPlugin#384), upgraded phpseclib to v3 for security and compatibility (#385), and made the order item controller easier to extend (#386).
Our partnership with Adyen has entered a new stage: the Adyen Plugin, originally developed with BitBag, is now maintained under Sylius’ wings. For merchants and agencies, this means an official plugin with a tighter roadmap to Sylius 2.x, faster compatibility updates, and one place for documentation and support.
One-click Express Checkout has been introduced on product pages, featuring Google Pay (Sylius/AdyenPlugin#47, #12) and PayPal (#50, #36), with shared templates for consistency (#40). Reliability improved with correct paid status on external verification (#38), richer payloads (#35), validated payment details (#34), and version resolution fixes (#10). Monitoring is easier with dedicated log channels (#22). Coverage widened with Przelewy24 (#16). Upgrades include Adyen Web v6 (#7) and the latest PHP API library (#3). We also introduced Enhanced Scheme Data collection for better reconciliation and reporting (#9), and moved documentation to GitBook for easier access (#45).
You can now manage favicons and SEO tags with a new metatags hook, and toolbars get a consistent order thanks to sorting for main and bulk actions: Sylius/Stack#275, Sylius/Stack#276.
Meet the Product Configurator, our newest Sylius Plus module that transforms complex customization into smooth, guided experiences. Instead of endless product variants, customers build exactly what they want through an intuitive step-by-step process with real-time price updates and instant validation.
The module handles everything from selectable options and measurements to file uploads for artwork or specifications. It supports option groups, dependencies, and required fields while storing the complete configuration on the cart and order – so your fulfillment team sees exactly what was requested.
Perfect for print shops handling complex specifications, apparel companies managing personalization, packaging manufacturers quoting custom dimensions, and B2B suppliers streamlining made-to-order workflows.

Time is running out! Regular pricing for SyliusCon 2025 ends on September 16th, which means you have just weeks left to secure your spot at the most important Sylius event of the year! 🚨
This autumn, Lyon once again becomes the beating heart of the Sylius community. On October 17th, experts, developers, and enthusiasts from all over the world gather for what’s become much more than just a conference. Think about various talks from experienced people from the industry, conversations that spark ideas, and after-hours events that turn colleagues into lifelong friends.
The full agenda is live with dual tracks serving both technical implementation and business strategy needs. What’s more, October 16th brings an exclusive workshop led by Gracjan Józefczyk – four focused stages of Sylius mastery from core architecture to plugin development, plus €50 off Sylius Certification and €100 off Sylius Academy courses!
Regular pricing ends September 16th! Join us in Lyon
Let’s take a closer look at the newest Sylius-based projects.
The MR DIGITAL team just launched a new stunning version of szklonawymiar.pl – a custom-sized mirrors and glass platform now powered by the winning combination of Sylius 2 headless architecture with React.js and Next.js frontend! 🪞
What makes this implementation particularly impressive is how it solves the challenge of dynamic product configuration. The custom plugin handles everything from square meter and linear meter calculations to real-time pricing adjustments, all integrated into the order flow. This product configurator is a sophisticated business logic engine that gives the client complete control over their custom manufacturing process.
The result of a project is a fully responsive, modern interface that makes ordering custom glass as simple as shopping for standard products.
Pharmacie Veau brought an entirely different challenge – migrating an online pharmacy to Sylius while keeping in mind strict healthcare regulations and storing sensitive data. This project shows how Sylius can adapt to tightly regulated industries without compromising on functionality or user experience.
The implementation tackles healthcare compliance along with pharmaceutical validation workflows, secure patient profiles, and protected consultation spaces for direct pharmacist interaction. Everything was designed with healthcare data security (HDS compliance) as a priority, hosted on Clever Cloud for maximum data protection.
They’re managing over 10,000 products through Sylius’s flexible catalog, with Sendcloud handling automated shipments and Payplug managing payments designed specifically for healthcare needs. Instead of the sterile look you’d expect from a pharmacy, the team went with a warm, cosmetics-inspired design that allows for comfortable shopping.
Our meetup in Opole brought that perfect summer vibe – complete with deck chairs that definitely captured the holiday spirit! 😎 Hosted by our Global Solution Partner BitBag, this second Opole edition proved that sometimes the best technical discussions happen in the most relaxed settings.
Mikołaj Król, Damian Murawski, Szymon Skowroński, and Michał Pysiak delivered an almost two-hour reflection on what changed, what worked, and what didn’t over the past two years in Sylius development. This wasn’t a typical presentation but an honest conversation about running a business that needs to adapt dynamically to the market.
It was great seeing how the Polish Sylius community continues to grow, with new faces joining each meetup. It’s always great to see our community expand.🖖
Looking into the future, autumn will be full of great chances to meet us and our partners. ⬇️
We’re proud to return as a Gold Partner to API Platform Con on September 18 and 19, continuing our long-standing relationship with the incredible team at Les-Tilleuls.coop 🤝
API Platform sits at the heart of Sylius’s modern architecture, powering the APIs that make headless implementations and integrations possible.
We would love to chat about Sylius, API-first eCommerce strategies, headless architectures, and whatever else sparks your interest! Whether you’re deep into technical implementation details or exploring approaches to modern commerce platforms, our team will be ready for great conversations.
We are really excited about this event – it is designed specifically for the growing B2B eCommerce segment! Get ready for September 10 at the Tpay office in Poznań, Poland, for a solid dose of practical information and the chance to exchange experiences with industry professionals.
We’ve noticed the significant development in B2B eCommerce markets and the real need for events that help businesses digitize and grow their operations. So we decided to create exactly that, partnering with some fantastic people from Tpay (Bartosz Witczak, Zuzanna Bykowska), Ergonode PIM (Kamil Niedziewicz, Kajetan Wyrzykowski), and BitBag (Radosław Żurawski, Jacob Lesniewski) 😁
This isn’t your typical conference. Whether you already run a B2B eCommerce store or you’re planning to launch one, you’ll get deep insights into this segment – from eCommerce platforms and PIM systems to payment solutions and implementation strategies. All presentations will be led by actual clients, for clients.
August brought us two fantastic new Professional Solution Partners, each bringing unique strengths and specialized expertise to our growing ecosystem.
Semcore joins us as Poland’s first SXO (Search Experience Optimization) agency! ☀️ Since 2012, they’ve been blending SEO with UX to not just drive traffic, but actually convert visits into sales. Their approach goes beyond traditional SEO – they focus on the complete user journey from search to purchase.
What makes Semcore particularly valuable is their SemcoreLAB, an in-house R&D program that rigorously tests what actually works before implementing it in client projects. With over a decade of experience and a data-driven methodology, they’ve delivered measurable results for leading players in many industries.
Additionally, Semcore contributed to our community with their blog post “SXO in eCommerce: How to Increase Sales Through Better User Experiences,” diving deep into Search Experience Optimization strategies. 🔍
Fifty Deg, in turn, brings Italian creativity and technical innovation to our partner network! 🇮🇹 This agency really liked Sylius’s scalability, modularity, and flexibility – so much so that they developed DegDitor, a headless CMS extension that makes content management in Sylius fast, intuitive, and efficient.
DegDitor bridges the gap between marketing teams and developers with its headless CMS approach that offers block-based page building, multi-locale support, and content scheduling while staying true to Sylius’s developer-first philosophy.
Welcome to both partners! We’re excited to see how these partnerships will strengthen our community and open new opportunities for innovative Sylius implementations. 🤝

What a month! Even with everyone sneaking off for summer breaks, we managed to pull off some pretty impressive stuff. From watching new Sylius-based projects to seeing our community at the events, August definitely didn’t disappoint.
With B2B Forum coming up and SyliusCon tickets flying off the shelves (seriously, grab yours before September 16th!), plus some brilliant new partners joining the party, we’re heading into autumn with serious momentum.
As always, thank you for being part of this incredible journey. See you next month! 🦢
