It’s been six months since we announced our cooperation with Mollie. During that time Mollie’s plugin was one of the most popular downloads on Sylius Store with overall almost 12k installs. Now with Sylius 1.8 being released in September our integration also celebrates an upgrade. Let’s see why now it’s better than ever.
With Mollie Components you ensure a higher conversion of your checkout for credit card payments. This puts an end to one of the biggest conversion killers: forwarding the customer to the credit card’s (i.e. VISA or Mastercard) app interface as soon as the payment is initiated. Mollie has taken an extra step to the fully hosted payment page. As a result, you can now directly enter the credit card details in your checkout. If you click on a credit card, you can immediately enter your payment details, you do not have to choose which type of credit card you use.
This feature allows customers who paid by credit card to complete their next payments with just one click. The functionality remembers the customer’s payment preferences to speed up subsequent payments. The customer does not have to perform any extra actions for this and can pay quickly and easily.
For merchants in Benelux, Mollie makes it possible for the consumer to select his bank on your checkout page for an iDeal payment without being redirected to an external page again before completing the payment at his bank. Another nice feature to get the conversion as high as possible.
Newest version of the integration also accepts meal vouchers as a payment. This solution was developed by BitBag for their recent project I-Lunch.
This feature makes it possible to send an email to customers with a failed or incomplete payment. It gives them a second chance to complete the payment via a payment link.
