Less than a month to go until SyliusCon, and you’re still wondering whether to join us (in another city, maybe even another country)? Let’s make that choice a bit easier. We’ve put together a little travel guide to help you plan your trip. ✈️🚆🚌

The venue (yes, the same as last year 😄)

We’ll meet again at Centre Congrès de Lyon – 50 Quai Charles de Gaulle. The entrance is right across the bridge, and you can get in from the front (main street) or the west side. The event takes place on the first floor, and the stairs are literally next to the registration desk. 📸 Plan below

Getting there

The venue is right in the heart of Lyon. From all key arrival points, you should reach it within 30 minutes:

• From the airport [route] ✈️
• From the train station [route] 🚆
• From the bus station [route] 🚌

Once in Lyon, you’ve got plenty of options with TCL (Transports en Commun Lyonnais):

• Metro – 4 lines (A, B, C, D). Fast, especially downtown.
  
• Trams – 7 lines (T1–T7). The T1 stops near Centre Congrès.
  
• Buses – 100+ lines, including express “C” routes (C1, C2 go straight to Cité Internationale).
  
• Funiculars – for tourists and views, like Fourvière hill.
  
• Vélo’v bikes – grab one anywhere in the city for short rides.

Tickets cost just a few euros and cover all modes for 1 hour so that you can switch freely. And yes, Uber and taxis are always there if you’d rather skip the commute 😉

Where to sleep (or, let’s be honest, just crash)

If you only need a place to sleep, nothing fancy, here are some nearby hotels in different ranges:

🍻 Be(er)fore, join us at 19:00, Le Traquenard (39 Cr de la Liberté, 69003 Lyon) for a casual drink with the Sylius team (Mikołaj, Damian, Przemek, Emil, Marc, Patryk, Magda & more familiar faces) and fellow attendees.

🌇 After Party, after conference, at 20:00 we’ll move upstairs to the rooftop of the venue (Entrance H, Salon ROSERAIE 3) to wrap up SyliusCon in style. Expect good vibes, good views, and a lot of green swans.
