Sylius Croatia 2017
After successful travel to Berlin, Sylius is going to conquer Croatia. Come to Zagreb on 14th of June and meet our team at Sylius & Symfony Croatia 2017 Meetup, organised by our friends from Netgen & Locastic.
Sylius Croatia 2017

This is a guest post written by Ivo Lukač, co-Founder of Netgen & Symfony Croatia member.

Hi everyone!

Exactly one year after our last meetup in Zagreb, we have decided to run the new edition of Sylius Croatia Meetup for aspiring developers, business partners and everyone else who uses Sylius or Symfony as their business tool. Croatian Sylius scene proved to be quite big relatively speaking to justify a yearly meetup.

The agenda for the upcoming meetup will be even more interesting than last year, considering that we have managed to secure presence of polish Sylius Team: Paweł Jędrzejewski (founder of Sylius) & Łukasz Chruściel, Arkadiusz Krakowiak & Kamil Kokot (Software Engineers at Sylius). Paweł & Łukasz will start our meetup with a talk about various ways of building the Sylius ecosystem with integrations and plugins. The lecture will be followed with speakers from Locastic, Netgen and Trikoder, with Arkadiusz & Kamil’s three-hour workshop scheduled as the final meetup feature.

The main topic, of course, will be Sylius as the best eCommerce PHP solution that has received amazing feedback from the community and has been embraced by developers. Sylius is constructed from fully decoupled components, with the Symfony base that makes every feature easily used in any other application. Ivo Lukač and Edi Modrić from Netgen will have a more in-depth talk about managing layouts and block, while Antonio Perić from Locastic will talk about all the pros and cons and his own experience while developing in Sylius. The last lecture (before the workshop) is scheduled for Trikoder’s representative Vedran Križek, who will speak about caching strategies with Varnish HTTP accelerator. You can check the complete agenda in the list below.
