Over 500 plugins have already been indexed in the new marketplace. Learn how to discover, claim, and manage them.
The Sylius Addons Marketplace is the next step in the growth of the Sylius ecosystem.
For quite some time, the community had been communicating that they needed more available extensions, better plugin visibility, and a single place where developers and merchants could easily discover Sylius extensions.
For years, we relied on Sylius Store. It served its purpose well, but the ecosystem has grown considerably, and expectations around how extensions are searched for and distributed have changed along with it.
Today, we’re taking the next step and introducing the Sylius Addons Marketplace – built on top of Marketplace Suite and running on Sylius 2. The new platform brings a structured way to manage plugins, vendors, and the developers who build extensions for the ecosystem.
The whole experience is more modern, easier to navigate, and designed to scale alongside the growing Sylius ecosystem.
But before we dive into the Addons Marketplace itself, it’s worth understanding what Sylius Connect is, as it serves as the central access point to the entire ecosystem.

Sylius Connect is the central access point to services and platforms across the Sylius ecosystem.
It’s built around a single sign-on (SSO) mechanism, which means you can use multiple services with just one account. Log in once and move between platforms without needing to create separate accounts for each.
Sylius Connect is designed for everyone in the ecosystem – developers, merchants, and partners working with Sylius. In practice, it acts as a starting point for discovering the tools and services available across the ecosystem. Once signed in, users can access Sylius Addons Marketplace, Sylius Academy, documentation, support, and contact.

When you land on the homepage, you can immediately see the plugins available in the ecosystem and jump to the main sections of the platform – Distributions, Plugins, Knowledge, About, and Contact. Since the platform is primarily focused on extensions, the Plugins section is the most natural place to start.
Right from the start, the marketplace includes over 500 plugins, indexed from public GitHub repositories and Packagist.
To make searching easier, the platform offers a set of filters on the left side of the interface. You can filter plugins by subcategories, vendors, product type, pricing model, and version. This lets developers and merchants quickly narrow down results and find extensions that fit their project’s requirements.

The Addons Marketplace also includes a search bar, so you can look up plugins by name or by vendor.
Clicking a vendor’s name opens their dedicated page, where you can see their logo, plugin rating, number of reviews, and total number of plugins they’ve published. From there, you can browse everything that specific company or developer has released, which is especially useful when you’re already working with a vendor whose solutions are part of your project.
This structure makes discovering extensions much more straightforward. Plugins listed in the Addons Marketplace get better visibility across the ecosystem, and the ratings and reviews system helps quality solutions stand out while giving maintainers a real reason to keep their extensions up to date and actively developed.

Many plugins have already been indexed and are visible in the Addons Marketplace. If you’re one of their creators, there’s a good chance your extensions are already in the catalogue and ready for you to claim through the onboarding process.
To do that, simply sign in via Sylius Connect using the email address linked to your Packagist or GitHub account. The platform will automatically detect the plugins associated with that identity.
You can kick off the process in a few different ways:

Once your email address is verified, you get access to the vendor onboarding process. If the system detects any plugins linked to your account or organisation, you’ll see a prompt letting you claim them.

When onboarding is complete, creators get access to the Vendor Panel, where they can manage their extensions directly within the marketplace. This includes editing descriptions, updating visuals, reviewing plugin details, and controlling how their solution is presented on the platform.

This gives plugin creators control over how their solutions are presented, while the community gets easier access to extensions that are current and actively maintained.
The official Sylius Addons Marketplace launch is happening on March 23rd at 12:30 on our YouTube channel.
During the livestream, Magdalena Sadowska and Przemysław Połeć will walk through the platform, show how the marketplace works, and cover the most important features.
It’s also a great chance to see plugin management in action, watch the vendor onboarding process, and get a feel for how extensions are presented within the Sylius ecosystem.
