Account Executive

Sylius is a fast developing Open Source eCommerce platform. We build software that is used by a worldwide community, including companies like REISS, POPSUGAR Inc., or Athletic Bilbao.

You will work within a small team of passionate consultants that advise our customers and prescribe the best solutions based on their needs.

What is more, we are innovative not only in technology but also in running a business. We are practicing Holacracy – a self-management practice for organizations. Within the system, you can take on different Roles and responsibilities in order to develop yourself in a way you like. See our structure here.

As an Account Executive, you will have no classical “TARGETS” or individual bonuses. You will work for purpose, not for premium. Instead, we offer quarterly profit share among all team members (After 6 months in the Organization). You will work in a quality-driven environment with a full freedom to choose tools.

What we need from you:

  • Previous experience in a similar position (internships included)
  • Basic understanding of how eCommerce works
  • Willingness to learn constantly
  • Availability to work full-time or 3/4 in the office
  • Willingness to pursue cutting-edge technology
  • Very good English communication skills

What will be your additional advantage?

  • Knowledge of CRM tools (We use HubSpot)
  • Interest in eCommerce and sales processes

Responsibilities:

  • Advising organizations on their eCommerce strategy
  • Discovering and understanding the challenges of our potential and existing Customers
  • Presenting our technology with relevant and useful product demonstrations to customers
  • Introducing leads to our Solution Partners
  • Spreading Sylius know-how by selling our training and consulting services
  • Updating information about customers & current deals and communicating with team members via HubSpot CRM
