Sylius is one of the top Open Source eCommerce solutions on the market. We build software that processes ~€4 billion in total annual revenue flowing through over 2,5k stores worldwide, including companies like Dr. Oetker, Forbes, or Jägermeister.

Around 50% of all Sylius-related business is done in French & German-speaking countries. For this reason, we’re looking for a Regional Business Developer with fluent German, a passion for understanding direct & channel sales processes, and a genuine interest in helping Customers solve their problems by providing them with professional advice. 🙂

What we need from you:
  • Fluent German (C1+)
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Great understanding of the e-commerce industry
  • Experience in software/SaaS sales processes
  • Experience in Request for Proposals (RFP) participation
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relations with clients
  • Understanding of modern IT methodologies, i.e. agile, scrum, etc.
  • Ability to perform an attractive product demonstration and sales pitches
  • Experience in working with CRM tools (i.e. Hubspot, Livespace)
  • Team-playing to reach the goal (our sales involve pre-consulting, technical workshops, etc.)
  • Fluent English (B2+)
What will be your responsibilities?
  • ADVISING over SELLING – first, we help solve the problem, then we sell if there is a fit for our products & services
  • PARTNERSHIPS over CONTRACTS – if a relationship is strong and a business motivation clear, the agreement is easy as 1, 2, 3… although we want you to negotiate hard when necessary 🙂
  • TEAM over SELF – successful sales in never a result of one-man effort – we will always cooperate with Technical Consultants and/or Business Partners to win any deal
  • COMMUNITY over DOMINATION – as a community-driven product, Sylius shines in integration ease. And so must our business – you shall identify quality tech players on a certain regional market and form partnerships with them
  • BUZZ instead of SILENCE – we expect you to bring the attention of a relevant fr/de-audience by shining on LinkedIn, representing Sylius during regional conferences, interviews for local industry magazines, etc.
